I am a researcher working on energy and climate, mainly investigating the impact of weather and climate variability on energy systems. I have a Ph.D. in computer engineering with a thesis titled Application of Computational Intelligence to Energy Systems. Currently I am a Scientific Officer at the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre “Knowledge for the Energy Union” unit in the Energy, Transport and Climate Directorate (Directorate C). Before, I have carried out my research activity at ENEA at the Climate Modelling (CLIM) laboratory.
